June 13th 2020 – Jewelry 101 Workshop: Beginner Stringing

In this beginner class we will cover the basics of bead stringing with nylon-coated beading wire and stretch cord.  Focus will be on how to finish your pieces to be both sturdy and elegant.  You will also learn how to turn a loop in a headpin in order to make quick and easy earrings.  Please note that no materials are included in this class. Students must select and purchase all beads, findings, and cord ahead of time.  You will receive a supply list a week prior to the class.  Please bring your list to the store during this time and enjoy a 10% off retail price discount on most items.*some exclusions apply* This class is suitable for those without jewellery-making experience, aged 14 and up.

All supplies must be purchased from Capilano Rock and Gem; materials from other stores will not be permitted.

Please arrive early for class; instruction will not be delayed for latecomers.
